Horse Show
Today I saw something SO COOL! Something I had never seen before. I woke up from a nice long sleep, I got a bath and the first thing my mom put on me where some new boots. But these weren' t like any other boots I have worn before the were cowboy boots from my auntie Liz.
I found out I was wearing these boots because we were going to a horse show. I LOVED it! I got to sit "Goose" with my friend Janeice! I was pretty much in awe of the whole thing.
Me on a very big horse. Mostly I was in awe of the lady who was holding me!
Here I am with Dad, Uncle Steve, Auntie Liz, Janeice and "Goose"
Janeice and "Goose" after they showed for Western pleasure.
SO BIG

The St. Patty's Irishmen
Today was all about my two Irish boys. Celebrating St. Patrick's Day has always been a big tradition in Dan's family since they are half IRISH. So, today my boys got all decked out in there green outfits and ate cornbeef and cabbage for dinner. Personally, I had never had cornbeef, but it tasted pretty good. The two spent almost the entire day together.
Going for a nice spring walk; taking full advantage of the nice weather.
Hanging out by the front window waiting for mom to come home.

A little Note
Thanks for all the well wishes and congratulations. We are very excited about our new baby news and look forward to meeting our baby Lawson #2 in October. We were at the Doctor's office a week or so ago and were able to see the fluttering heartbeat. It was great! We will keep you posted with our baby progress as time goes on. THANKS AGAIN!

Learning how to Ride
Since Isaiah's Papa Bob isn't close by to give Isaiah horsie rides, Dan is showing Isaiah how to take a ride. This is something Dan's dad used to do with him when he was little.

8 months
Our little guy is 8 months old today. I never really understood why it was such a big deal for to parents to take note of each month, but now I do. It's just one day, maybe even an hour for some, to reflect on the fact that their little one is not so little anymore. They have accomplished new feats each day and have long surpassed those first few days after birth.
Anyway, I am glad to acknowledge his month-by-month accomplishments. Oh and today marks the first day that we can actually see his first bottom tooth. Fun! Here are some photos from this week.
Stacks and STACKS
Is it just me or does anyone else have a hard time keeping up with loads of laundry during the week. Maybe if I was home more...maybe if I had more desire to fold...maybe if it wasn't so much fun to spend time with your kid....THEN, just maybe, there would be more time for the heaps of laundy to get done.

Blessing in disguise?
Isaiah has been under the weather this past week with his first cold, so this is how he prefers to sit and relax. However this cold may be a blessing in disguise. Since Isaiah was 2 weeks old he has had a clogged tear duct. But... since he got this cold, it has been slowly, miraculously, clearing up. So, we'll see, if indeed, this is a blessing in disguise.

Reading Time with Daddy
This is just a classic moment between Dan and Isaiah. Dan makes Isaiah laugh like no one else can and Isaiah just adores Dan.
