Thanksgiving

The men sitting around the table waiting to eat the desserts

My oldest nephew has surpasses my mother in height...he's only 13!!
My niece admiring the beautiful day we had for Thanksgiving
Isaiah found his Christmas present early, so with nothing left to do, we let him have it early. Maybe we'll hide it better a few weeks before Christmas then give it to him again, making it seem like new.
Our happy girl is starting to smile back at us.

17 Months

Recently our growing boy has been very accomodating when I say cheese. I can't complain when I get a cute photo like this! Maybe he's practicing for his senior photo shoot!

This is what you get when you leave your camera laying around - Random tongue shots! HaHA

Friday morning Play group

Friday's have fast become a day that we look forward to because of Friday morning play group at church. A few mommies bring our kids to the church nursery and let play together for the morning while we chat and have coffee. I am very thankful for this weekly outlet! (and I am pretty sure my kids are too!)

Isabelle's Baptism

This is the day the Lord made! We were so happy to bring Isabelle to the Lord in baptism this weekend. Our prayer is that she will grow to know and love Jesus all her days!

Our little family....
Both grandfathers baptized Isabelle.
Here are both sets of grandparents with Isabelle.
Our sponsor for Isabelle are my sister and brother-in-law. Their commitment to pray for Isabelle and keep her accountable to her Christian heritage is very important to us.
After the baptism we went out to my parents house for lunch and a party!
Lots of laughs and good times were had. The Strom's and the Salvesen's have been long time friends and had a great chance to catch up a bit.
Nanny and Isaiah!
Lastly, later in the evening my good friend Julia came through and met Isabelle for the first time. It was great to spend some 1-1 time together.
Dan actually broke out pops this weekend, much to my displeasure, but made Isaiah very happy.
Happy boy!!
Nanny with her #1 granddaughter!

This Week

7 weeks and growing! Isabelle is just a little doll! It's so fun to have a girl. This week we had some really good family time with Daddy. Now that the first quarter of school is done and the grades are all in, we get him all to ourselves!

Playtime at the Park with Daddy!! Isaiah ADORES his Dad.
Weeeee!! on the merry-go-round.
Then, off to Lake Alice to feed the geese and ducks. What a memory...Dan would throw bread on the ground for the geese and Isaiah would occassional pick one up an eat it. I wonder if he was hungry or just trying to impersonate the geese?

Are these the shoes I am going to try to fill someday?
