Pregnant and Home

Well, here I am 33 weeks pregnant and offically on bed rest. This past week has been a bit of a challenge. I went in for my regular 33 week check-up on Wednesday and when my doctor check me, he found that I was 2 cenitmeters dialated. He immediately put me on bed rest until June 2 and had me sent up to the Labor & Delivery unit of the hospital. Once admitted and monitered, I also found out that I was contracting every four minutes, without me even realizing this. SOOOO, I am now at home and on medication for the next 2 weeks. Hopefully the baby will not come until after June 1 or 2, then I will be 36 weeks along and that's an ok time to deliver. At any rate you can pray for me that I won't go stir crazy!!

Pops the Iguana

Dan is so proud of "Pops" our pet Iguana. Well, it's more like HIS Iguana. Anyhow, he is now 4 ft 3 in. in length from head to tail. Dan has had him for 4 years, since he was a baby.

Mother's Day

It all started last weekend, at the mother's day banquet at Bethel church, honoring my mom. The greatest mom I could have ever been given and who I hope to be like.....
Here she is with 3 of her very good friends, Diane JoAnn, Candis and my mom, JoAnn.

Jane, our mom and me at the Mother's Day banquet

Then, this past Saturday four of us girls (Betty, Jane, me and Jodi) took my mom out to Nature's Garden World to buy all kinds of flowers. Betty surprised my mom driving up from Minneapolis!

We saw lots of beautiful flowers....

Surprise Visit

Two weekends ago my Aunt and Uncle surprised my mom and dad all the way from Florida for my dad's birthday! It was so fun to see them. We had everyone over for dinner and dessert one of the evenings that they were around.

My mom and my aunt had been shopping the afternoon before coming over to our house and my mom counldn't resist buying this cute outfit for our little one. We don't know if it's a boy or a girl, but it's great because it will work for both!

On Sunday evening Joel, Emily and Cordin Davis came to Fergus Falls for some seminary classes and stayed with us. It was great to see them again! We also had Danny and Mandy Bronson over for dessert on Monday night. 3 pregnant ladies all together!

Dan and I have decided we have offically been bound forever...we alphabetically combined all of our 430 CD's. It was a big job, but felt great to do.

Dave's NEW Bike

My brother David showed up out at my parents house today riding this brand new bike he'd just bought. It's a 2004 Honda and it's beautiful....it sounds even better! Here's Dave and his new ride.

Julie's Home!

SOOOOO fun to see my sister Julie home from Colorado Springs. She is here for her and Jane's 24th birthday this week. It's great for the three of us to be all together again!

Visiting Wheaton

This weekend we had a great time visiting our good friends Andrea and Jeremy Knick in Wheaton. Andrea cooked us a great meal and the boys had soooooo much fun showing us all their toys. We were so glad that we were able to get out to their place and hang out. We had such a nice time and enjoyed their boys so much!
Andrea and Christine. We have a picture from six years ago when Andrea was expecting her first, Jaxon, so now we have the opposite....me expecting my first.
Jeremy with Jonah, who was a little camera shy for the moment, but not for long. :)
Jaxon, just a sweet boy, enjoying his homemade cheesecake. Also, you must notice his front tooth is gone...he lost it that day and was thrilled to tell us about it.
Here's Hayden...the little giggly, goodfy one. He is so fun and reminds me a lot of Andrea's personality!!
The three boys....getting all wound up after dinner and flopping to the ground.

Fargo Get-a-way

This weekend Dan and I had a chance to get-a-way to Fargo, ND for a night. Our sister-in-law was also working in Fargo that evening, so we all got together, stayed at the Ramada Hotel, shopped and relaxed in the pool area. This is only time that we will have to be "away" before our baby arrrives. We are soooo thankful we could get away Steven and Elizabeth
Steven and Dan going down the slide together! Crazy boys.

70's Night

On Saturday evening we went to a 70's theme party that the city of Fergus Falls put on. It was really fun, something that we don't usually do, and had a really fun time dressing up. It was great to see some friends that we hadn't connected with since returning to Fergus Falls. Dan really got into character by shaving a fu-man-chu along with huge chops! Don't you love his hair too!!
Dan and my brother Steven really had a blast being dressed up in 70's costumes!
