Catching up

Well, here we are again, catching up after a few weeks of blog silence. We have been enjoying summer with the few nice days that we've had. I am finally in my 8th month of pregnancy and am now starting to count the days until we get to meet our new little one. Boy or girl, it doesn't matter. We are excited to have another little one around. Daddy and Isaiah are such buddies. Here they are down by the river admiring the water and beautiful evening.
Isaiah LOVES the wagon he got for his 1st birthday. He likes getting in and out of it over and over again.
Recently we had the Berge's and Gorman's out for dinner-grilling down by the river. It was fun to be together and catch up.

OUr LitTle BuNDLe of JoY

It's not about me anymore...it's all about Isaiah. I know married couples must say to themselves at some point, 'what did we ever do before kids?' I have asked myself that question and think...nothing as important as this. Even when things are cramped, noisy and messy, this is still better than not having him. Apparently he really liked Spaghetti O's (enough, at least, to smear everywhere!)
SO BIG! Walking pretty much all the time now, he is offically on the move. He is such a good little boy, not getting into a whole bunch.....
Wait. What did I just say......?

I guess that clip on the bags of chips wasn't enough to keep him out. Just when you turn your back for a minute, something always happens! Well, at least he got a little snack.

The Last Few Weeks

The last few weeks have been filled with lots of fun summer things. This past weekend Isaiah visited the county fair and saw live animals that he's only read about in books. He really enjoyed seeing the ducks, pigs and cows. Here is Isaiah completely intrigued with the oinking pigs

Another new thing that we have been experiencing this summer is weaning Isaiah from the bottle to just the sippy cup and solid food. Since we feed him with our hands and he eats only with his hands, he tried doing the same to Dan yesterday. It was hilarious! He just kept stuffing carrots into Dan's mouth.
We also enjoyed a surprise 30th birthday bash for my sister-in-law, Jodi, given by my brother. She was totally surprised! In return she and David surprised all of us with the BIG NEWS that they are expecting their first baby this winter! It was so fun to hear! Here we are having lunch with Dave, Jodi, Steve and Liz the day after the surprise party.
Julie and Jane came up from Fargo to join us for the birthday surprise
Isaiah has also turned into quite the climber, he loves standing at our window and yelling out to the birds. Here he is with his little buddy Elias teaching him the ropes of walking along the wall heater to look out the window.
One of the big highlights has been seeing cousins this summer. Here is Isaiah with one of his oldest cousins, Brett. Isaiah LOVES Brett and his other cousins. He cries every time they leave his sight. Hopefully we will see lots more of the cousins.

One Year Later

One Year ago at convention Mandy Bronson, Emily Davis and Christine took this photo on the couch at our apartment.

A few short weeks later, Isaiah was born on June 23rd. The next day, Ezekiel (Zeke) Bronson was born a couple of doors down in the same hospital. By the end of the week Elias Davis came into the world up in North Dakota.
We all got together for dinner during this year's convention.
Here is a picture of the "Three Prophets" with their respective Mommies.

It will be great to see how much each of these boys grow each year.

June Stuff

So many things have happened since my last blog entry!

I have now learned to communicate using my voice so I have not had to come on here and type so much. I can say Mama, and Dada, and Baba (bottle), and Wawa (water), and Ama (Grandma), and Uck (Duck) and my favorite word See, as I point at all sorts of things.

We have also had lots of excitement and visitors.

Here I am at the Summerfest Parade with Grandma and Grandpa

Daddy went up in a Helicopter. He said he had always wanted to do that.
Mommy wore a big hat to keep out the sun and I had my first Sucker! I LOVED IT!

Of course June was the convention, I am not so sure what that is, something about pastors getting together from all over the Country to argue and pray about it.

But that meant Nanny and Papa came to town from New York.

We spent lots of fun times together.
Here we are out to eat a Perkins.

I entertained them all by playing with my straw.
I can do lots of tricks! :)

Look who's walking!

A little over a week ago, Isaiah finally decided to let go and walk without any help.

Here he is walking across the room, from Mommy to Daddy.

Dan is thrilled here, but his days are going to be much busier from now on trying to keep up with with this little toddler.

(At least he waited until after the school year was over like Daddy told him to.)

How Big Is Isaiah?

SOOOOO BIG!!!

So that is a picture of Isaiah when he was two weeks old.
He is next to his stuffed Giraffe. Look how big the stuffed animal was next to him!

And here is a picture of Isaiah now that he is 1 year old.
He is next to the same stuffed Giraffe.
Wow, what a difference.
He is now over 30 inches long and about 22 pounds.
Our little boy is growing up so fast!

I'm Back!

SOOOOO, I know it's been a very long time since I have had a blog entry, but with good reason. We have moved, had a family wedding, celebrated Isaiah's 1st birthday, had the in-laws here, worked A LOT and to boot had internet problem and the hard drive crashed on our laptop, so to say the least we have been busy. (Don't worry Dan backed EVERYTHING up on an external hard drive so all of our pictures and files were saved. If you do not have your system backed up and your pictures saved in a different spot other than your computer... do it NOW! Do not wait or your hard drive might crash too!)

Since I know are all here to see pictures anyway, my comments will be brief, even with the long absence. But note, we are doing well. I am healthy, the new baby is growing like crazy-kicking lots, Isaiah is now a little BIG BOY and Dan is still amazing.

Ok, on to the pictures. Here are the pictures I promised from my last entry a month ago of my sisters wedding. It was beautiful and she looked radiant!! I was her photographer, so it was really fun to have a hand in helping her and her husband make these memories! Enjoy....

Isaiah's 1st Birthday!

We celebrated Isaiah's 1st Birthday with family and friends. He was given many nice gifts and loved the chocolate cake! The Mets baseball cake was mostly for Isaiah and a little for his daddy.
Who's birthday is it?? My birthday!

Wedding Weekend

We were so happy to be a part of my older sister's wedding weekend. She married a great guy and had a fabulous wedding. I was their wedding photographer, so I didn't get a bunch of pictures with my camera, but when they send out more photos I will be sure to blog them for all of you to see. After walking so cutely down the aisle as a ring bearer, Isaiah zonked out on the pew bench next to Dan. He was a little champ!

A few pictures

11 months old!! Next month our little buddy will be one year old!
We realized that Isaiah loves puppies. We found this stuffed puppy that was Dan's when he was little. Isaiah loves it!

Dan's ever growing Iguana is still around and thriving. He takes care of "pops" and I stay away! Isaiah is now walking with us using one hand. It won't be long til he starts walking.
Moving again. Yes, we are moving again. It's almost as if we can't stay put for more than one year in a place. We are moving to the basement apartment at my parents by the end of May.

First Mother's Day

It was my 1st Mother's Day this past weekend and boy did I feel special! Dan and Isaiah were home finger painting this sign that you see below while I was working at church. When I can home I saw this adorable handmade card with my favorite flowers alongside them. What a great surprise (I love surprises!) Dan had made a pizza, so lunch was on the table and Isaiah was down for a nap. The two of us got to eat alone and spend about a 1/2 hour just relaxing together which ended up being one of the best parts of my day. Later in the afternoon we went to Dairy Queen for blizzards then visited my mom and dad. Overall it was a wonderful, special day. And just think, next year there will be baby #2 to celebrate with too! I love my mommy! (and Daddy)I really like eating with my own fingers now. Plus I like big chunks of food to munch on.

A weekly update

A few pictures to highlight our week so far. Lots of smiles for you. Isaiah's personality is really coming out these days, he is so cheerful and happy. More and more he is becoming a Daddy's boy, clinging to Dan, especially when he sensed Dan's getting ready for work. (Very cute!)

Sitting outside watching the cars go by on Sunday afternoon.
Look what Isaiah figured out how to do. I heard him fussing in his room and walked into him standing at the railing. Of course I had to snap a picture before picking him up. This is the begining of a whole new ballgame.
