A New Chapter

Here I am in my first offical day as STAY-AT-HOME mom with my special boy. Yesterday was the first page in this new chapter of my life. I am very happy to have the chance to be home and raise my children. I am sure I will learn a lot and be stretched in lots of different ways. (Thank goodness for my parents upstairs!)
All Isaiah wanted to do yesterday was play with water, so since we don't have a bath tub downstairs I decided to stick him in the infant bath tub instead of going upstairs. Needless to say, he had a ball!

I somehow found time to make a delicious blueberry bread. I'm not Betty Crocker, it was a box mix!

I love this Kid!

Isaiah loves pushing large objects around and today he found something new to push around. He is so strong! My oldest nephew came to town for the weekend, of course Isaiah loved that!

Playing outside today was a little damp and cold, but so worth it.

Isaiah has all kinds of personality! Recently he has been especially funny, picking up words we say and repeating them, chasing us around and playing with random toys. This is definately a fun age!

Papa's Visit

Dan's dad is here from NY for a short visit, so we are packing as much as we can into 2 days. Here is Dan and his Dad. Can you see any resemblance?Here is papa holding his first little granddaughter. This is almost a daily routine, Isaiah listening to Grandpa play his guitar. Do you see how intently Isaiah is looking at his fingers. So cute!

PAPA'S HERE!!!!!

Papa Lawson came today for a short visit since he was in Minnesota for some meetings. We are so happy he could come up to us and visit. After a leisurely morning we all went outside to pick rippened apples from the apple tree in the backyard. Grandma hopped right on the opportunity to make a fresh apple pie, so we got to enjoy that later in the day.
