My 1st Trip to NY

This week I am in NEW YORK!!!! My Dad is in a wedding, so we all came out here for that. I am so excited because I am meeting all my NY family and friends, plus doing some really great stuff. The first people I met were my greatparents. Apparently, I am named after this good looking man who just turned 91! He's my great-granddad, William. My great-grandma was not too far off, looking at me from a distance and waiting for her turn to hold me.
When I sat with my great-grandma, I was pretty content, but I soon started realizing that I was in a new place, not in the arms of my mom and dad and I was HUNGRY!After I got to eat a little bit it was back to pictures and getting passed around....Does that ever end? Probably not....
On to the cousins. It was great to see my buddies again, Ryan and Kenny.
Kenny and I are only a year and a half apart. He makes me happy and smile. I think we're gonna be good friends.
Especially since he gives me LOTS of attention and kisses.

DAY 2:

Today was family day with my mom and dad. They wanted to do some things that they like to do when they come to NY and brought me with to experience them for the first time. I was all cozy and comfortable in the car seat when they took me out to go to this place that had smelled really good and lots of food shaped like triangles....

It was Phil's Pizzaria, their favorite place to grab a slice of pizza!! I was a little jealous I couldn't eat any myself, but I will someday.
I was just happy to sit outside and be with my mom and dad.
The next place they took me was TO THE BEACH!!! It was a nice day, a little cold, but still pretty. They thought it would me fun for me to get my feet wet and feel the water, but I didn't like it AT ALL....

So I cried.... LOUD!!! Soon they made me feel better and I was alright again.
Mommy gave me kisses....And Daddy warmed me up with my blanket. My mom and dad were trying to get a cute family picture, but I was finished with pictures, the beach and just wanted to go home. They tried taking a few more, but finally realized.....
It's now all about me :) and took me home. (Can you tell why I have them wrapped around my finger?....especially my mom)

1st Time to the State Fair

Can you believe I have lived in MN for 18 years and never visited the State Fair. Dan and I thought it was about time...we drove down to St. Paul Saturday morning, leaving at 7:30 a.m. and arrived about 11:00 a.m. Rina was with us and enjoyed the ride to the cities, seeing all the landscape. When we arrived at the fair we met up with our friends, Hick and Kaylee. We had such a good time together! There were SO many people there.

Rina's Visit

On Friday evening we had a vistor stay with us from Japan, Rina. She has been staying with different families in Fergus Falls for the last 3 weeks. She is studying English in Osaka and has been here for homestay experiences. She certainly enjoyed meeting Isaiah.

A few favorite things

Two of MY new favorite things:

2 Months Old

Our little buddy Isaiah is growing and growing everyday! Today we were at the doctor for his 2 month check-up. He is now 22 1/2 inches and 12.11lbs. He got his first round of shots, so he's a little cranky tonight, but that was expected. He is just our little pride and joy...cranky or not!
Isaiah LOVES being with his daddy. He will now have the chance to spend lots more time with him since Dan was hired as a District #544 teacher last week!!! He will be teaching all the new online math classes and gets to work from home. God is SO faithful.
Me and my little honey. It's so wonderful to spend time with my little guy.
Just relaxing with Daddy....

This past week we attended my cousin, Jared, wedding in Billings, Montana. My whole side of the family drove out to celebrate with my cousin and his bride, Brynde. It was such a beautiful day for thier outside wedding. The had it on a golf course that was surrounded by mountains. It was gorgeous and so were they!

After the wedding and the Thursday prior we also had some time to spend as a family with all the cousins and aunts and uncles.

My mom and her younger sister Ruthie

All the ladies together!

Here's the happy couple the night before the BIG DAY!

Isaiah's Baby Shower

We were so pleased to attend a baby shower for Isaiah last week. By new found super-friend Meghan and Candis Berge threw a wonderful shower at Bethel church for us. It was decorated so cute and the program was SO great! One of our blog entries was even a part of the program. It was so much fun!

Proud little grandma!

Thumb sucker

So.....the other day when grandma was taking care of Isaiah, this is what happened. You never know what's going to happen when grandma's around :)

We were so blessed to have our little Isaiah baptized into the Christian faith this past weekend. Both Dan's father and mine did the baptism which made it all the more special. Here are some pictures from the weekend.
