AND.....we're BACK!

Our little bundle is quite the happy girl! Does anyone else think that double chin is adorable?! My little cutie! Our little smarty figured out our childproof lock on the DVD/video cupboard. This is how we found him.
Someone got his first big haircut for the summer! He sat so great and didn't make a peep. I think he thought it was fun to watch himself in the mirror.
Notice the stitches? Isaiah took a bad spill into the church Bible pew rack on Sunday morning. After being rushed to the ER he got two stiches and LOTS of TLC the rest of the day. What can I say....it's probably the first of many. However I am happy to report he is doing very well.
Figuring that we needed something to keep Isaiah's attention away from the river in the backyard, the purchase of a new sandbox seemed like a great idea. HE LOVES IT!
Friends already, Faith and Isabelle are bound to be the best of buddies!

Kiddos

Playtime with big brother is getting to be really fun! He likes pushing me around in things like the laundry basket and my walker (and sometimes his dump truck!) He likes to hold me in his wagon when mommy takes us on walks.
I really like playing in my exersaucer!
I love laughing with my mommy especially with she blows on my neck.
Happy! Happy! I love my mommy!
Oh... Isaiah loves mommy too!

Easter Sunday

I just love my little family.... Talk about some beautiful baby blue eyes on both Dan and Isabelle!
Mama and 'Izzy'
Isaiah on a little Easter eggs hunt around the house.

Easter Egg Dying

We had so much fun dying Easter eggs with Isaiah. It was his firtst time doing this and he loved it! He would point out which color he wanted us to put the egg in.
He really liked seeing all the eggs come out of the dye.
Mommy did too!

CUUUUTE!

We had a few very cute pictures we wanted to share with everyone so here we go!
Since it is Good Friday there is no school which means...
DADDY'S HOME!!!
Doesn't Isabelle look so cute all dressed up in her cute little outfit?
Thank you Nanny!
She just loves her little sun hat and matching pants and of course those cute little pink shoes.

Isaiah and 'Izzy' are really starting to have so much fun playing together. Here they are in their Jammies, holding hands on the couch! Aren't they just the cutest!

Isaiah found this pair of Isabelle's sunglasses and he just LOVES to wear them.
He wears them around the house all the time, especially when he is watching his favorite music video of Trains Hey Soul Sister over and over on Youtube.
"I want Hey Hey Mommy." "Again?!"

Isn't she just SOOOO Cute!!!
It is Easter Weekend so there will be more to come soon!

OWWEEEE!!!!!

Isaiah had his first of what we think will be many visits to the Emergency Room!
He was a little squirmy right before nap time and he managed to squirm his was right off the changing table and took a header onto the floor!!! OH NO! A lot of crying and quick drive to the Emergency room and the Doctors found nothing wrong. He got a little bump and some rug burn but all turned out well.
In Fact, the Doctor not only said there is nothing wrong, but he was impressed at how much Isaiah was talking at 21 Months. Apparently Isaiah was a little Chatter Box at the Hospital. He really liked when Isaiah started counting for him.
Guess our boy is a little Genius!!
He also has a hard head like his father. :-)

Family Weekend

Looks like a party right???
Well, this is actually how things look my parents place when just the brothers and sisters get together. This past weekend all of us Gundersen kids were home meeting our newest members of the family Jack and Faith. We had so much fun altogether. Here are some snapshots of the weekend. Baby Jack sleeping away all the comotion and noise.
Faith decided to join Jack and follow his lead.
Isabelle decided to wake Jack up and get to know him a little.
Uncle Steve always brings a smile to Isabelle's face!
Eric is SO amazing when it comes to playing with his little cousins. Here's he's got them on the floor rolling and laughing.
Here's Auntie Jodi meeting and holding Jack for the first time.
Daddy actually gets to hold his daugther for once...when the family is around, we hardly get a moment to hold our kids. (Not that we mind it once in a while)
Ingrid found Isaiah's dump truck and played for a long time on it. It's great when his toys can occupy the clan of cousins.
On Saturday we had some of my Aunts and Uncle out for coffee and to meet the new great-nieces and nephews. Here they are admiring some pictures of Jack on Betty's computer.
PILE on the COUCH!!! Here are some of the cousins together!
Aunt Julie and Isabelle were having a little playtime/learning to walk time. Don't worry, Isabelle is far from learning to walk.
Couldn't resist posting this picture. Isaiah adores Izzie and daily gives here hugs and kisses. This weekend was no exception.

On the 23rd our little pumpkin turned 6 months old - can't believe it - SO I took a few pictures to document this 1/2 birthday.
There she is SO BIG!
Momma loves you baby girl...especially when you grab my face and give me wet, slobbery nose kissses!
THE END

Congratulations Devin!

Congratulations to our little nephew Devin who was baptized into Christ's family today on Long Island, NY. We wish we could have been there, but couldn't make the trip this time.

What a cutie in his little tuxedo! (Do you see the resemblance to Isabelle at all?) Devin being baptized by Pastor Kevin Foss at Peace Christian Church. The family - Ryan, Kristi and Devin, Dan and Kenny. (Anyone else think Ryan needs a haircut?)

This is by far the cutest playtime our two kids have had together so far. I am so glad I actually caught this on video! Enjoy!

Spring Happyness!

Spring may be right around the corner.... When we can feel the squish of water under our minnesotan feet, spring feels so close. With the first hint of nice weather Isaiah was itching to be outside. It didn't take him long to find his favorite outdoor toy. His wagon! Also being that he's a boy, mud and water were the next top items on his list to find....and he found them.
Isabelle decided to sleep away the trip outside, but she sprung things up with a cute outfit anyway!
She also ate some rice cereal with Daddy for one of the first times. Big girl!
